Emergency Australia
Medical Training
Emergency Australia
Medical Training
OVERVIEW
Our focus is to provide solutions across 3 key areas: Training, Medical Support and Work Health Safety.
Training: As the saying goes, “train hard, fight easy” we believe through exposure, realism and a hands on approach to training, confidence can be instilled to respond in a variety of contexts. We use the lessons learnt from our unique backgrounds to contextualise training for maximum engagement and knowledge retention. As Emergency Australia is a Registered Training Organisation 41448, our qualifications are nationally recognised. Our courses range from 1 day courses to diploma level accreditations for individuals and groups.
Medical support: Each site and event is unique. Medical support needs to ensure the stabilisation and extraction of personnel, to definitive care. Our specialty is remote medical support using Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registered healthcare professionals, with experience in complex and remote environments. Our staff have experience across both government and private sectors including mining, oil and gas, motorsport, corporate and event medical support.
WHS solutions: We understand the annual legislative requirements for Australian organisations, to ensure staff, contractors and visitors operate in a safe, supportive environment. Each workplace is unique, we work to tailor and automate a solution to enhance safety in the workplace, whilst supporting daily operational requirements.

A 1/299 Elizabeth Street, Sydney NSW 2000
OVERVIEW
The first chapter of Disaster Relief Australia is a modest yet determined one. In 2013 a couple of regular blokes got it in their heads that they could take the model of disaster response and veteran reintegration pioneered by Team Rubicon US, slap a big coat of Vegemite on it and make it Australian. In doing so their goal was to shift the paradigm of disaster response in the Pacific Rim and change the narrative around veterans in Australia.
Since that time we have been diligently growing and building capability. We began putting Australians into the field before we were even a registered organisation – Nepal, America, Greece and the list keeps growing.
We are now a team and are becoming a Tribe. In 2017 Disaster Relief Australia became a fully operational entity. We bring a capability to field not yet seen in this region and provide an opportunity to Australian Veterans that is much needed and long overdue.
Our next chapter will be an exciting one….

OVERVIEW
We have a particular focus on Brain-focused correction strategies, drawn off clinical neuroscience research, in addition to offering various modalities such as mind-body medicine, sports therapy & kinesiology, movement therapy, manual therapy, functional neurology, integrative medicine, vagus nerve stimulation, health coaching, health retreats and mentoring.
Our Director Nick Moss was a former Australian Army Infantry soldier with the 2nd Battalion, serving on multiple deployments with them. Due to this, we have a unique approach to dealing with veterans utilising our brain based correction strategies to deal with common veteran service related injuries such as PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Traumatic Brain Injury and Chronic Pain.
We are integrative health practitioners who use functional brain-based approaches in the treatment of the brain, body, psyche and spirit. We draw from a variety of different clinical modalities across complementary medicine. We also educate holistic health practitioners, manual therapists, movement professionals or any individuals who want to integrate clinical neuroscience into their practice.
