Swiss 8 is a proactive mental health charity, founded by Australian military veterans. We have lived through disconnection from mates, anxiety through workplace and lifestyle transition, and loss of identity and purpose after military service.
We want to share the lessons we have learned with the entire country, and we want you to join us. Keep your mates connected and host A BBQ To Remember.
Join the BBQ
Isolation and social disconnection is the leading cause of anxiety and depression. Improving mental health starts with connection. Join our Veterans as we connect over 1 million Australians.
Host a backyard BBQ, beach BBQ, office BBQ, on your apartment balcony BBQ, car park BBQ, anywhere BBQ.
Make it A BBQ To Remember and raise funds to support our ongoing work to end the suicide crisis.
BBQs are happening around the country throughout 2022.
Disconnection and loneliness is the biggest mental health issue our generation faces. To improve mental ill-health numbers and reduce suicide, we must meaningfully connect with our mates, our people, our tribe.
A BBQ To Remember is our flagship fundraiser that connects over 1 million people per year, and helps us ignite proactive action within the most at risk suicide demographic. Joining us to take proactive action will not only positively impact your life, but the lives of those around you.
